Lombardia – Lecco

On the other side of an old wrought iron, an imposing park welcomes the visitors of this Lombard country house. The history of the building starts around 1350 in OLgiate Molgora, first like an observation tower and granary . In the 1700 the noble Sala family decides to build his Barocchetto Lombardo house enlarging the previous edifice. In the 20’ of the XX century the Villa was inherited by Paolo Sommi Picenardi di Calvatone, who was fashioned and expert in gardening.  Both Italian and English gardens are characterized by many rare worldwide plants, despite this and thank to good local atmospheric situation the plants gained very quickly highness.
The sinuosity shape of the garden is one of the most powerful characteristics, where the seek loses itself through the botanic space, as well as the physics boundaries, showing to the visitor romantic statues, a pond and some fountains
